Our free storytime series returns this summer in the Public Media Commons, the plaza just outside of the Nine Network. Please bring blankets or chairs for seating. The August event features Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. The PBS KIDS® character will be available for photos and stories will be read and shared on the big outdoor screen. We’ll have crafts, games, and other family activities. The event is free, but registration is required. These events fill quickly, but check back closer to the event date in case additional space is added.

Storytime in the Commons is presented by Boeing Company and Union Pacific Foundation in partnership with St. Louis Public Radio, St. Louis Public Library and the Nine Network’s American Graduate initiative.


The Story of Cortex Premiere Screening

You are invited to a free screening and discussion of the Nine Network's latest, one-hour documentary. Smart People. Cool Places. The Story of Cortex tells the compelling story of an urban innovation district in St. Louis attracting national attention and promising to take the region’s economy in a new, positive direction. The Cortex Innovation Community is tucked into the historic Central West End neighborhood, designed from the ground up to encourage entrepreneurial startups in bioscience, medicine, and technology. Cash bar available. Please bring chairs for seating at this outdoor event.
