Hamilton’s America and the PBS Arts Fall Festival Previews
Friday, October 7 at 7:00 p.m.
Register on Eventbrite

The Nine Network proudly presents a 30-minute preview of Hamilton’s America with additional previews from the PBS Arts Fall Festival. Join us in the Public Media Commons for an enticing glimpse of arts programming you will not want to miss.

Every fall, the Nine Network gives you a front-row seat, and behind the scenes look, at classic Broadway hits, music, dance and theater. This year, the 2016 PBS Arts Fall Festival kicks off with a special on the making of the Broadway phenomenon, “Hamilton.” “I’m such a huge fan of PBS. For my entire life it’s been our window into a world of the arts that isn’t available anywhere else on TV,” says Lin-Manuel Miranda, the show’s Tony- and Grammy Award-winning creator and star.

Great Performances: Hamilton’s America will air on Nine PBS on October 21 at 8:00 p.m. This “hip-hop-historical” documentary gives viewers a look at the creative process during the three years leading up to the Broadway opening of the record-breaking musical winner of 11 Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize. “Hamilton” is a musical about the life of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.

This event is free, but registration is required.
