New for 2017 is community-created content in the Public Media Commons. February themes include tropical vacations, pizza, Valentine’s Day, and karaoke. So, the next time you have a great photo or video that fits a theme; upload it to the Public Media Commons website so it can be featured in our award-winning outdoor space. A list of themes and the upload link can be found on our Collaborations page.


Storytime in the Commons: Curious George

Our free storytime series returns this summer in the Public Media Commons, the plaza just outside of the Nine Network. Please bring blankets or chairs for seating. The May event features Curious George. The PBS KIDS® character will be available for photos and stories will be read and shared on the big outdoor screen. We’ll have crafts, games, and other family activities. The event is free, but registration is required. These events fill quickly, but check back closer to the event date in case additional space is added.

DonnyFest

The Nine Network is throwing a party on Saturday, June 24 to celebrate the 30-year legacy of Donnybrook, one of the Nine Network’s most popular shows.

Included with the price of admission to DonnyFest is a photograph of the cast, with the opportunity to get autographs, live music, drink tickets, light appetizers, and more. Donnybrook 30th Anniversary t-shirts will also be available for purchase.
